Description: Showcase your trick-winning skills in this popular card game from France!

Introduction: Can you work according to the contracts and win the necessary tricks for your team? In this 4-player card game, the two players sitting opposite to each other will be teammates such that 2 partnerships are formed. A deck of standard playing cards will be used, with all 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 removed, resulting in a total of 32 cards. The deck is never shuffled and will only be cut before dealing. Each player will be dealt 3 cards then another 2 cards, and after the cards are dealt the bidding phase begins. Each player can choose to bid for a contract or pass. The contracts from lowest to highest are clubs, diamonds, hearts, spades, no trumps, and all trumps. During your turn, you can click to choose an option in the table that appears on the left of the screen. Note that you must make your choice within the given time limit, as indicated by the timer on the screen, or you will lose. If the previous player has bidded for a contract, the next player must bid a higher contract or pass. If only one player has bidded for a contract, that contract will be used for the round, for example if a contract of clubs is used, the clubs will become the trump in the round. The ranks of cards in the trump suit from highest to lowest are J-9-A-10-K-Q-8-7, while the ranks in a non-trump suit are A-10-K-Q-J-9-8-7 from highest to lowest. If all players choose to pass in the bidding phase, the current round will be forfeited, and the cards will be collected and redealt. If your opponent has bidded for a contract, you can choose to double the contract so that the final score in the round will be doubled. If you choose to double the contract, your opponent can choose to re-double, and the final score for the round will be multiplied by 4. When the bidding phase is over, each player will be dealt 2 more cards, and the round will begin. Each round consists of 8 tricks. During the first trick of a round, a player can declare that he is holding special pattern of cards so that additional bonuses can be added to the final score. A "tierce" (3 cards of the same suit in sequence) is worth 20 points, a "quarte" (4 cards of the same suit in sequence) is worth 50 points, a "quint" (5 cards of the same suit in sequence) is worth 100 points, a "carré" of J's (all 4 J's) is worth 200 points, a "carré" of 9's is worth 150 points, a "carré" of A's, K's, Q's or 10's is worth 100 points. If a player holds K and Q of the trump suit, it is called a "belote" and is worth 20 points. Note that in a no-trump contract the declarations do not apply. The first player in a round can play any card, and the suit of that card will become the leading suit of the current trick. Other players must then follow suit if they can. If a player does not have cards of the leading suit, he needs to play a trump, but if he cannot do so, he can play any card. If a trump is played in the current trick, you must play a higher ranking trump if you can. But if the current trick winner is your teammate, you will not be required to play a trump or a higher ranking trump. After all players have played a card, the player who played the highest ranking card of the leading suit or the highest ranking trump will become the winner of that trick. The trick winner will then start the next trick and the round continues. After a round has ended, each team will calculate the points from the cards in the tricks they won. The points are as follows: for trump cards, J - 20 points, 9 - 14 points, A - 11 points, 10 - 10 points, K - 4 points, Q - 3 points, others - 0 point. For non-trump cards, A - 11 points, 10 - 10 points, K - 4 points, Q - 3 points, J - 2 points, others - 0 point. The declarations made during the first trick will also be added to the final score. The winner of the last trick gets extra 10 points. If the round is won when the other team won no tricks, extra 90 points will be awarded. If a team which is committed to the contract (bidded for the contract) has fewer points than the other team, all of their points will be given to the other team. In a doubled contract, both teams are considered committed. The points in the round will be divided by 10, then rounded and added to the final score. The rounding limit is 4 in an all-trumps contract, 5 in a no-trumps contract, and 6 in a suit contract. When a team has accumulated more than 151 points, the game is won. This game was suggested by Amur.
