In the world we live in today, experiences shape and mold
a person. Our unique passions, our different cultures, and
our individual experiences create a beautiful and distinct
story that is purely our own. For me, this experience has
been the constant presence of the United States Air Force,
United States Marine Corps, federal, state, and local law
enforcement; and in my opinion, and leading by a
significant margin, The United States Coast Guard. Many
of my family bloodline have served in these institutions,
and similar arenas, stemming from and dating directly
back to the voyage of the Mayflower from Plymouth
England.
Despite my extensive global travels, I will always be able to
answer the seemingly simple question "where are you
from?" with one word: TEXAS. Personally I am grateful
for my many life experiences. Although many started out
far from perfect, they have taught me to be patient and
open minded, responsible, incredibly adaptive, and excited
for the change and adventure that lies around the bend.
Many of these experiences and much of the training that I
have had the privilege and honor to receive, have been
responsible for what I consider today to be nothing less
than miraculous and lifesaving. That said, "I am still with
us, and getting younger every day!"
