About Me:

I wish there were a woman who could manage my 6BR 6bath home the way a Home Economics old-school high school student would have been trained. As long as I am wishing, might as well reach for the stars and ask the Cosmos to send me a technologically and digitally adept partner, as well. Hah!
Not necessarily looking to date, except to find a live-in platonic home manager and housekeeper or just a roomie who paid her own way.
I am building out a live-in stealth camper for my golden years. Hoping to drive to Pacific Northwest. Bucket List.
Sleeping in it occasionally, for practice.
I'd love to do all this myself, but I am not yet retired.
I have lived in the same old home for 35 years now. In a neighborhood in Tampa to die for, near Bayshore Beautiful Linear Park and Trail.
It takes two hours per day of housekeeper and gardening attention to keep the old place in clean condition. Just cleaning the windows, screens, shutters, blinds and glass takes about 60 labor hours and must be done at least twice per year.
Friends say I am: Very self assured, too trusting, vulnerable, quirky, direct, positive, judgemental, intelligent yet NOT socially clever, outspoken, opinionated, motivated, active, adventurous, lacking in 'social I.Q.' issues, not well-read, successful, inquisitive, generous, impulsive, sometimes too intense and/or "out there". I do enjoy discussing and revealing my emotions. I wear eyeglasses more than 90% of the time. The facial hair comes and goes, my bald spot does not. Hah! I was married 29 years to a wonderful woman who home-birthed my children and about whom I feel nothing but admiration. I owed/gave her a quarter million bucks (she deserved more for putting up with me for 30-some years, so I got a BARGAIN, I feel) when we divorced and now have a few room mates to help me make the mortgage payments on my old wood-frame craftsman six-bathroom ramshackle home in which some of my children were home-birthed and where I have lived some 35 years now.

My Ideal Match:

She is fairly simple in cosmetology and attire, as her truest pulchritude comes from within.
Her nails are short.
Her feet could be big but her carbon footprint is small.
She lives responsibly and with a healthy lifestyle for herself and the earth.
She hopefully shuns disposable shopping bags and often rides a bike, paddles a canoe and kayak.
She weighs less than me, but could still likely kick my a** when I deserved it.
She believes global warming is caused by man and that man evolved from lower life forms.
She feels equal to and tolerant of others, not feeling her own ethnicity superior.

I've never had a 'straight' job, except for when I was drafted, during the Vietnam War Era, and sent overseas as a Combat Engineer Platoon Leader, to (defend Democracy, yeah right!) do bad things. So much for 'straight jobs', huh? I ain't afraid of much, except our (mostly Federal) government.

I made something out of wood for my Mom when I was twelve. I got so much positive reinforcement, I kept making things, now 50-some years later, I still do the same thing, but now as a semi-retired world-class furniture maker and woodworker.
