i'm retired, divorced, have lived alone since 2012 had colon cancer, surgery, tumor removed required no chemo or irradiation. was living in Fl and when in bathroom slipped on rug and foot went under edge of cabinet peeling skin back. went to hospital, had surgery was told i had a strep infection that had come up thru my feet was told if tried to save foot it would take 2 years with no guarantee of success and could still lose my leg, option 2 was to have a below the knee amputation which I chose and now have a prothesis I moved to Columbus into an independent living facility to be close to family, Born and raised in wester Pa. Moved to Akron in 1970 when employed by Sun Oil company. After that job I owned a commercial roofing company until 2009 when I retired
