I am a recently retired teacher living in Florida for 32 years. My retirement is great; I stay up late and get to sleep in. I love the beach in the winter and the pool in the summer. Reading Historical Fiction is a favorite way of relaxing for me, and I like to write as well. Another way I relax is with music. I love music of mostly every genre: from classical to classic rock. I listen to music every single morning as I get ready to do my day. Sometimes I play loud rock, sometimes I sing along and move around to 80's music, and other times I'm in the mood for soothing classical. I'm hooked on streaming sites, especially Prime Mysteries and Movies and a bit of Netflix and Hulu as well. Conversation is important to me too; I like people and love talking with them.
My Ideal Match:
I'd like to find a nice guy for getting together with casually to hang out. If it goes further and turns into a relationship with or without commitment that would be great too. I'd actually not want to have expectations either way, and just see where it goes naturally. I would enjoy a guy who can just sit and talk at a coffee shop or have drinks together in the early evening or share a lunch or dinner with. It's interesting to be around someone who can talk about books, movies, experiences, or culture, art, and history, and of course someone whose conversation can get me laughing. I've been known to watch my fair share of football and hockey too. It's really not that complicated, is it?
