In January of this year my wife of 41 years died. I am still lost. I live in a very rural area. My friends are people I have known for decades.

President Trump Dismantles Deparment of EducationLooks like the only educated children in this country will be those with rich parents.

I'm in Alabama and Alabama guaranteed won't spend money on education for children whose parents are poor.

Anyone who has any knowledge of history knows that the reason the Articles of Confederation were rescinded was because power left to solely in the hands of the state benefited the elite white population and noone else.

Slaves and itenerant farmers were lucky to have food, much else anything else.

Anyone who thinks this is going to benefit them ,better have enough money that the can pay entirely for their children's education.

With a gun in your face what would you do?Eight days after I was separated from the military, I took a job hauling produce for a produce company.
I was delivering a handful of produce to a majik market when to armed guys came in to rob the place. One had a. 357 mag, the other had a 32.20 s&w.
.357 went to make sure noone was in the restroom.
32.20 told everyone to lay down on the floor.
I had a chain drive wallet full of company money. I backed up against the cooler.
32.20 came up to me and said lay down. He stuck the barrel of his weapon in my face and said I'll shoot. I could see empty cylinders on both sides of the hammer, so I punched the little Bastard in the throat. As he was going down I took his weapon.
The confusion had given the clerk time to hit the silent alarm.
We hear sirens from two police cruisers that were in the area.
.357 panicked and hauled a** leaving his buddy lying on the floor trying to breathe.
When the cops came charging in,the clerk told them that one had fled and the other was laying on the floor. She told the officers what I had done.
One officer asked why I had hit the little guy.
I told him I hit the guy for being so fucking stupid. Then I handed the officer the guys 32.20. He opened the cylinder and it was indeed loaded. It had one round and the hammer was down on it.
The officer said I was lucky the idiot didn't know how a revolver worked.
I said no, I would have him him twice as hard in the esophagus and twice as many times.
If I had done that, he would need a bodybag not handcuffs.
This should be a lesson to would be crooks.
When you pull a weapon on someone, you have no idea what that person's life experiences are.
I had just returned home from Southeast Asia after 18 months in the jungle along the Ho Chi Minh Trail. The Viet Cong had already scared all the fear I had out of me.
