I served in the US Air Force for four years. A paperwork glitch kept me from being allowed to reenlist to finish out my career. I was trained as an electronic technician.. After the military, I learned cabling and satellite installation. I worked contracts with several companies, which involved extensive travel across the United States. After my contracts went south, I entered the transportation industry as a trucker. I drove several different classes of equipment. 26 years, then got a blood infection that almost ended my life, forcing an early retirement. God had a better plan. Though not completely healed, I'm still here to talk about it and operate my Dodge Caravan part time with riders to supplement my income.
