About Me:
I live alone in a small house I own, with my two great Danes( very large, like 190 lbs. big). It's a nice little lot just outside city limits on a quiet dead end road. I have a small fish pond that attracts a lot of wildlife, and I enjoy watching all the wildlife that comes for water, including a large family of quail, goldfinch, song sparrows, garter snakes, fence lizards, frogs, western skink, etc. I am a builder, specifically metal worker, and can make almost anything. If I don't know how yet, I just spend a few hours on the internet, and then I do. I have a nice garage full of all those metal things us guys love. I am kind of a homebody, but I do enjoy church get togethers, country drives and beach trips. Not real big on crowds, and absolutely refuse to go to any drinking establishments. I like christian music, but still like listening to my old metal music now and again, even though I probably shouldn't. I love kayaking the clackamas river and have 2 nice kayaks and a good raft, and am always looking for people wanting to hit the river. Mciver park to barton park is a nice run. I read a lot, both science and science fiction/fantasy, and am never happier than when I am learning something new. I spend a lot of time on the yard since The entire thing is surrounded by trees and shrubs, just the grape bushes around the pond and the wisteria vines keep me busy. I have leland cypress all around the perimeter, for privacy, and those too are a chore each fall.
My Ideal Match:
I am looking for a wife to enjoy my later years with. Someone to go to church with, go to dinner with. Someone that can help me when I need it, someone I can help when they need it. Someone to share bills with, so I can have more money left over for all my projects;). I live on social security, and since my house is paid for, I get by alright, but, since this is oregon, just property tax is a burden.
