About Me:

I am a retired country gentleman who is tired of sitting at home. Don't get me wrong I enjoy hanging out at my place but I want to get out and do some things with a nice young lady who l Iikes to laugh and have some fun. I like country, rock and heavy metal music. I am 61 and have been single for several years. I kind of gave up because I kept getting the let me check my schedule or some other excuse to not go out. I just want to start with eating out and talking to see if we have similar interests. I like to learn new things. If you are into skydiving all I can say is have a great time. I am not jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. I actually hate flying now because I did quite a bit of flying when I was working. I would rather drive if I want to go somewhere. I am not saying never fly but you would have to convince me I really had to go. I like the beach and summertime. Cooking out on the grill or going to concerts indoors and outdoors. I am not crazy about cold weather. I enjoy the weather in NC because the winters are not too bad. I do not care for snow. It's nice to look at for a day or two but then I am ready for it to be gone. I have a few other interest like food. I enjoy eating good food. I am not much of a cook however I do make a great breakfast. I know how to bake a cake and enjoy having a slice too. I do not have any children but I like kids that behave and will listen from time to time. I was a kid so I do understand some of the challenges that come along when you interact with children. I can say no to children and still sleep good at night. Lol I like to do things with children as long as it is safe and they will listen some. I get it. Hey, I am still part child when it comes to having fun. I sometimes have to remind myself that I am no spring chicken. No trampolines and anything that may cause me to injure an ankle or shoulder. Lol safety first!

My Ideal Match:

I am seeking someone that is honest and caring. Someone that cares about the future of the country and the future of children growing up in America. I think everyone has somebody out there for them but nobodies perfect. I admit I need to be steered in the right direction from time to time but I a usually level headed.
