About Me:
I read this book by John Niedhart 1907 Black Elk Speaks, A Lakota Sioux Medicine Man. Black Elk was alive in 1810, he was alive during Westward Expansion. He speaks of the fall of Custard as Yellow Hair. He was alive during the Native American and American War. He was a very spiritual man and talks often about how simple the Lakota religion as most tribes were. This was a fascinating book I read 40 years ago. It came to mind.
