I'm a 48 year-old-woman women seeking engaging male companionship. Full disclosure: I'm separated but will be divorcing after 24 years of marriage. It's been an unfulfilling marriage due to lack of affection and intimacy, plus other factors. I'm looking to finally enjoy life fully. I'm a writer and am getting heavy back into penning new novels and marketing the ones I already have out. In the past, I worked in the human services field and have a bachelor's in psychology.
As for my hobbies, I love to exercise and go for walks. I'm very active and go to the gym every day or exercise at home. At the gym, I enjoy dance fitness and strength-training classes, plus the other occasional class like pilates or barre. It's not a must, but a male who likes fitness would be a plus. I'm toying with the idea of becoming a fitness instructor but am undecided. I do carry some extra weight in my midsection but have great legs. Unfortunately, any extra weight goes to my midsection, not my hips, thighs, or butt.
I've been told I look young for my age and have a great smile. I think I'm a kind, funny person who is at least reasonably attractive. At first, I'm on the quiet side as an introvert/ambivert but am very friendly and smile at lot. I'm very loyal to a fault (probably too loyal at times when the person no longer warrants it) and have been described as very kind.
I also enjoy movies and reading. Fantasy is my jam. Love Lord of the Rings but also Jane Austin's works. I'm up for many other activities, too.

I'm pretty open and am mainly looking for someone who is kind, not overly judgmental, and can communicate without sulking or stonewalling. Someone who won't play head games.
