About Me:
So, who am I? I'm a shy introvert who thinks too much. I'm open minded and anti-dogmatic, I enjoy a good conversation about the "deeper" topics, politics, philosophy, science, religion, etc. But don't ask me to partake in small talk, I can get by but it's certainly not my cup of tea. Speaking of which, I love tea and have everything I need to brew a fresh cup wherever I go. I'm especially a fan of gunpowder green tea, it just has such a rich smoky taste to it.
I'm honest, too honest really, it can sometimes get me into trouble. But I hate lying. It may sound cliche, but damn I hate the way it makes me feel. Honesty is perhaps the value I cherish the most, seconded only by being open-minded.
Or course, I'm also a gamer. Been playing video games most of my life, board games and such not as much but I'm open to trying them more. Regarding video games, I'll play pretty much anything but I'm not great at highly competitive pvp types and prefer co-op or co-opetition (like overwatch).
Now onto the things that'll probably cause you to exit my profile. As I said, I'm honest, perhaps too much and I hate how sales-pitchy most "profiles" are. Real people have traits, values, and beliefs that may end up rubbing you the wrong way. So let's dig into those a bit.
Politics: Center Right. Though I'd say I'm more politically homeless. I dislike how dogmatic each and every party is, they all want to control people, tell people what they should be doing. I'm against all of that. That said on certain issues like size of government, or certain moral ideals, I fall more towards the conservative side.
Religion: I've recently discovered religion and consider myself a Lutheran Christian. But as with politics, I find people can take religion to far and become dogmatic. I'm not that, but I feel religion helps, it seems to fill in a hole that I've had for a long time. So because of that I plan on continuing church every Sunday.
Aspergers: I haven't sought an official diagnosis quite yet but mean to look into it this year. This is something new I've recently discovered that explains a lot of my quirks. One of which is missing important body language queues, which is pretty important it seems. another is not understanding people. Don't get me wrong, most people think I'm a very nice guy, but I just have, idk, a hard time understanding what people are thinking. Meaning it's difficult for me to "read between the lines". So bluntness helps :)
Okay, well if you made it past that bit then awesome! I promise that I'm a great guy, and I take my promises seriously. So let's have a chat sometime and maybe play a game together. Let's have some fun.
