About Me:
Although I'm not a "day-trader", I rely on occasional on-line market trades to augment my monthly Social Security income.I live in a two-floor apartment with a great view to the south from my upstairs living/bedroom. (It's nice to have sun coming in through my big south-facing bay windows on cold winter days.) There's room for you if we agree about fundamental issues. I'm atheist, anti-socialist, and opposed to government interference in education. (I oppose taxation to pay for schools.)
I'm interested in socio-political scenarios about what will happen in the future: how Biden and DNC will contend with staying in power in the midst of a resurgence of Trump values in the 2022 and 2024 elections. Will Biden declare a new lockdown that will anger people in "red" states to the point of armed insurrection? Will Biden use the pretext of George-Floyd-style riots, or an armed insurrection resulting from his lockdown (and concomitant mail-in voting mandates) to declare martial law?
Where will you and I be in this kind of a future? How about making love and having babies? Is that too insane to be considered as a possibility?
When I'm using my PC, I generally listen to classical/semi-classical piano or '70s disco playlists--everything from Chopin to Lecuona to Boz Scaggs.
My Ideal Match:
A little knowledge of Ayn Rand, Linus Pauling, Nancy Friday would help to get some conversations started.
