About Me:

Most of time is spent creating and performing puppetry for general and theater audiences- but not children. I've achieved a high level of excellence in this field: an international UNIMA award with Shadow Puppetry, an invitation to perform in International Puppetry Festival in Washington with Rod Puppetry and an offer to perform at the prestigious Kennedy Center, and great reviews from every where. What has made me unique is a sheer love of storytelling and a good sense of humor, unique and powerful mastery of technique- "the best manipulator/ performer I have ever seen" ( London Puppetry Journal), and, as the president of the international puppetry association (UNIMA) said, waving his hand "over" an auditorium of 500 puppeteers from all over the world, "Bob, nobody can write like you." Creating puppetry skits involves using music I love which inspires me, from ballads to symphonies, and using art and design, and the magic of words, our language, rich, vast, and powerful- even in a whisper. So, with creating in my workshop or performing, I have every thing to create with and I am a happy camper. Current goal is to create skits that are more interesting and eloquent and more suitable for theater. Theater audiences are my favorite audiences. I've performed a bit on TV- BBC,Thames TV, PBS..and at comedy clubs - exciting, but it wasn't fun. I'd rather perform at any craft fair for the people.. I've toyed with the notion of teaching puppetry. Aside from the puppetry, I love nature: studying plants and animals. And I still have my boyish love of simple fishing with a bobber. I'm fascinated with hypnotherapy, took a course, and as a hobby, have helped people with little problems. Sports don't interest me, but I occasionally watch a bit of football. Will watch nature documentaries, history documentaries, and biographies of writers, or adventurers.... I don't watch tv. Never played a video game. Very sensitive over animal treatment. Love dogs.

My Ideal Match:

Looking for a woman who doesn't mind that I love a wide range of music, including popular music, even most of the lyrics sound like they were written by the same ten year old boy. Some woman who has dyed her hair purple because it makes her dog stop barking.
